This two hour pool based lesson under the watchful eye of trained PADI instructors is a great way to learn the basics of this popular sport – and potentially save valuable time on holiday. Covering the basic safety and mobility techniques, the lesson will also teach breathing skills and familiarise you with the equipment. The lesson will serve as an ideal introduction for those wanting to take further PADI qualifications and additional lessons maybe booked directly with the dive centre. Your Guide will make sure you learn quickly and safely before exploring the coastline. With a focus on on-water experience, you’ll cover vital aspects; from helming to sheet handling and the roles of other crew on board. From the comfort of the Yacht, experience the pleasure and beauty of this quieter part of the Norfolk Broads, a haven for wildlife. Location: Norfolk (South East) Agenda: Arrive at the dock at 9:30 (for the morning session) or 1:30 (for the afternoon session), and get busy with a fun route to a basic understanding of sailing; including boat handling, rigging, rules of the road, equipment, knots and emergency precautions and procedures. You’ll need to bring warm clothing (whatever the season ? to be prepared) and waterproofs, shoes with non-slip and non-marking soles and sun protection. Tea and coffee are provided at break times. Morning sessions finish at 12:30 and afternoon sessions end at 4:30.

Test your steering, balance, and speed ? but hold on tight as these machines have a habit of aquaplaning and throwing you off when you least expect it! Choose between a stand up Jet Ski, which tests your balance and stamina, a?sit down Jet Bike to test your handling and speed or a Jet Rib which is easy to manoeuvre and great fun. Then take on the mile long course and prepare to get wet. Shortly afterwards you will be issued with a wet suit and buoyancy aid before you progress to the pre launch area.? Sit down Jet Bikes and Jet Ribs will be on the main lake, where stand up Jet Skis will be on a sectioned off area (for additional safety) as these skis are great fun, but require more balance than the other machines.
